This website is devoted to the pursuit of the truth, whether pertaining to history, world affairs, cultural or religious matters.
We witness an all-pervading struggle throughout history, as much as in the world we live in today, between the truth and the lie. And since the world has been for thousands of years under the dominion of forces hostile to the truth, it is only to be expected that the lie would mostly prevail over the truth. This implies that there would be always be more followers of the lie than of the truth, speaking of mankind as a whole. As a famous writer put it, a lie can travel halfway around the world while the truth is still lacing its shoes.
In the modern world this dominion of the lie is maintained and enforced by the mass media, in both its printed and electronic forms. Through their control of these media the enemies of the truth wage an incessant campaign of misinformation, deception, semantic distortion, and suppression of the truth among its victims: readers, listeners, and viewers.
Without in any way pretending to be infallible, it is our aim to work against this empire of the lie, which has gained monstrous proportions especially in the secular humanist West. If we can manage to make a small contribution towards the promotion of the truth, we would be satisfied and grateful indeed.
